Trainer Bio
Over the last 25 plus years I have been providing seating and mobility solutions to all people. I started with pediatrics then continued with nursing home residents and eventually moved into rehab. I have been a rehab seating and mobility consultant for almost 18 years now. At present I work with the Adult Wheelchair and Seating Program and the Spinal Cord Program through Parkwood Institute. Over the years I have worked with some of the most complicated clients for their seating and mobility needs. With the complex seating needs comes the custom seating certification that I hold for Ride Designs. I also work closely with custom seating technicians to design and create the fabrication of pieces of equipment that ensure client safety and protect their skin integrity. The goal is to provide each client with their independence and allowing them to function at their highest level.
