Shelby Leveille is a dedicated Mobility & Accessibility Sales Consultant at Motion, where she has been serving clients since 2022. With a passion for enhancing the quality of life for individuals with mobility challenges, Shelby brings over a decade of experience and specialized education to her role. Her journey with Motion began in 2013 as a Customer Service Representative, where she developed a strong foundation in client care, product knowledge, and community support.
Shelby holds a diploma from the Occupational Therapist Assistant / Physiotherapist Assistant program at St. Clair College (2013), and a Bachelor’s Degree in Disability Studies from the University of Windsor (2018). This combination of clinical training and disability advocacy has shaped her into a compassionate and knowledgeable professional, committed to making a meaningful impact in her community.
Throughout her career, Shelby has worked directly with a wide range of clients and care teams, including patients, caregivers, occupational and physical therapists, and a variety of service providers. She regularly collaborates with public schools, retirement homes, long-term care facilities, hospitals, and group homes. Her ability to navigate complex care systems and understand the unique needs of each individual has earned her the trust of both clients and healthcare professionals alike.
In her current role, Shelby specializes in mobility solutions and adaptive equipment. She is actively working toward her designation with the International Registry of Rehabilitation Technology Suppliers (RRTS), a recognition that highlights her expertise and ongoing commitment to professional development. Her daily work is closely aligned with Ontario’s Assistive Devices Program (ADP), where she supports assessments, equipment quoting, and client education related to funding and eligibility.
Shelby has also undergone advanced training in custom seating through Ride Designs. Custom seating plays a crucial role in ensuring proper support, posture, and comfort for individuals who rely on mobility devices. Recognizing the diversity of client needs, Shelby has become well-versed in evaluating and recommending seating options that range from foam, gel, and air cushions to more specialized components that offer mild to aggressive support.
Understanding that the wide variety of equipment and seating options can often feel overwhelming for clients and clinicians alike, Shelby takes pride in being a resource and guide. She approaches each case with patience and attention to detail, helping therapists and families select the best combination of seating systems and mobility bases tailored to each individual’s medical and functional needs.
Shelby’s passion for accessibility, combined with her extensive hands-on experience and formal education, allows her to serve as a valuable advocate and partner in care. She continuously seeks out learning opportunities, whether through manufacturer training sessions or clinical workshops, to stay current with innovations in assistive technology.
Driven by empathy and a deep sense of purpose, Shelby remains committed to helping people gain independence, comfort, and dignity through the right mobility solutions.
